Miles Craig is a hard working engineer that would be a benefit to any company lucky enough to have him. Personally working with him through my education at Cal Poly Pomona, Miles excels in project management, Solidworks, 3D printing, and all aspects of engineering. Miles is extremely reliable and would be a great candidate for any company looking for a young engineer to be a potential leader in their company.

His work ethic and ability to thoroughly explain concepts in lay terms is second to none. It is with pleasure that I inform you of student Miles Craig. Miles is a student of mine at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a very hard working student. His work reflects neatness and imagination, as well as accuracy. He interacts well with both his instructors and fellow students. His warm, outgoing personality makes him well-liked by all. His energy level is among the highest of any student I have ever taught in this department.
It is my opinion that these traits of fine scholarship as well as his engaging personal characteristics will serve Miles well in a position of responsibility. His ability to follow directions and finish all tasks assigned to him will certainly carry over to his chosen field.
It is interesting to note that Miles' father was also a mechanical engineering student of mine years ago here at Cal Poly. He was a fine student who went on to be a distinguished mechanical engineer. Miles reminds me of his father because of his keen interest and ability in mechanical engineering. He is carrying on a fine family tradition. I have the utmost confidence that Miles Craig will continue to be a credit to this institution.

I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. Miles Craig who is a student in California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly Pomona) pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering since September 2009. I have known Mr. Craig since fall of 2010 when he was one of my students in ME214 "Statics" and ME224L "Mechanics Lab" classes. He followed by taking ME218 "Strength of Materials" class with me in the spring of 2011.
As a student he was highly intelligent, hard working and dependable with positive attitudes. He performed all his duties diligently receiving the highest score on many assignments and tests, ranked among the top 5% in all three classes with overall grade of "A". He showed his eagerness for learning by frequently participating in the class discussions, asking intelligent questions both in class and during the office hour visits. He was truly an outstanding student with a high level of self motivation and self respect. He was also very pleasant and well mannered.
I have not had the opportunity to observe him in a more technical or research oriented course. However judging him by his performance in the above classes and by his willingness to learn new and more complex theoretical concepts I am certain he would be very strong in the research fields as well. Based on Mr. Craig Miles academic performance and his desire to succeed, I strongly recommend him for any position or scholarship which will advance his studies. In my opinion he will be an excellent candidate.

I have known Miles Craig for approximately 2 years. As a student, his academic performance and ability to apply engineering knowledge has always been excellent. I have had contact with Mr. Craig as a student in design courses and he has exhibited great engineering skills both in the classroom and working on related design projects. I have known Mr. Craig as a student in my sophomore class, ME 215, Vector Dynamics, in Winter 2011, at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He showed a keen interest in the class and secured an A- grade. He showed his ability to clearly understand complex details and physical intuition in solving problems in the class as well as on the tests. I found him to be an intellectual student. He expressed his ideas clearly, which indicated his high level of analytical and practical thinking of engineering problems from formulation to the solution stage. Quick and precise, he has the capacity of solving challenging problems very efficiently. I believe he has all the making of an excellent engineer, and I would strongly recommend him.

Miles Craig was a student in my Ordinary Differential Equations with Linear Algebra (Math 224) class in which he received an A. He was one of the top students. He participated in class regularly and came to my help sessions. I believe that he is disciplined, serious and dedicated. I believe that Miles would be an asset to any organization. It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to write this letter of support for Miles Craig. I met Miles in my Winter 2011, Math-215 course. Math-215 is Multivariable Calculus II, which includes the topics of multiple integration and vector calculus. Miles instantly stood out. On his first exam he got 100%! I noticed Miles to be a very bright person. He came to class all the time, asked questions during lecture, and contributed to a very pleasant classroom environment. He continued getting very high marks throughout the course and received an A for the course. Miles works hard, asks questions, and follows through until he accomplishes his goals. I am very proud of him and I know he will continue with this very successful pattern.
Miles and I continued to have a dialogue even after the course ended. He let me in on his courses and I continued to provide some advice and recommendations. I have complete confidence in his abilities. It is my strong feelings that Miles is talented, highly motivated, and extremely competent who will become a remarkable engineer.
